A new kid on the block, it's truly a find! While it was referred to by a multilingual rickshaw puller as well as multiple guests we came across in the Bharatpur national park, it was indeed worth it.
We landed up as a group of 16 (8 adults 8 children) at 7:30 pm, after a walk of 11 km in the national park through a cloudy, gloomy, cold day with a bone chilling freeze. With the last meal as breakfast at 11:30 am, the kids, children and adults were all cold, hungry and impatient......to put it mildly.
There were 3 types of soups that were ordered and while it took time I wouldn't really blame them. They were decent but very spicy considering children and also since explicit instructions had been provided on no/minimal chilly. The main course had 4 different dishes and were brought in rather quickly after the soup and there was also a cake that they managed to organise for us at a short notice. Our fear was that now Rotis would take a long time which we voiced and was very well addressed. The main course dishes were spicy but then they organised a et replacement quickly. The billing was done fast and while PayTM /digital payment was a challenge everything else was managed to as well as could have been when suddenly ambushed by a group of cold and hungry 16 adult+children.
It's a new setup and started by a family that was earlier into farming so I felt they did a great job and would recommend it highly to people. For drinkers an additional advantage is that there is a wine shop right next door and they have separate open hut like seating areas for couples/drinkers and a enclosed seating area for family or private dinners.
The Hut restaurant , is highly rich in taste and indian curries , there butter chicken is awesome, the food they serve is creamy , finger licking food .
But please better your waiters service.
